UPDATE: Yesterday Rick Santelli went on a big old rant about how much he hates people who own homes. Today, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs shot back with this statement:
“I’m not entirely sure where Mr. Santelli lives or in what house he lives, but the American people are struggling every day to meet their mortgage, stay in their jobs, pay their bills to send their kids to school, and to hope that they don’t get sick or somebody they care for gets sick that sends them into bankruptcy. I think we left a few months ago the adage that if it was good for a derivatives trader, that it was good for main street. I think the verdict is in on that.”

CNBC assbag Rick Santelli goes off on “losers,” mortgages. He’s reporting from a trading floor, where people cheer him on for calling out “moral hazard.” He says nothing about the Wall Street Bailout. Nice.

Obama and ACORN sued banks over the mortgages and this is why it’s a mortgage crisis. All loans had to be equal or it’s a law suit.
He guaranteed the foreign buyers of the bundled mortgages before Merrill sold to China and now he’s guaranteeing no foreclosure and payments. It’s easier to let them go bankrupt and pay off the Chinese mortgages. China is mad because Obama won’t just pay them off, what they thought the deal was; he’ll force bankruptcies before he pays off the mortgage.
