Awhile back, bastion of ethical journalism, The National Enquirer, broke the huge and surprisingly true story of John Edwards affair with new age mystic and aspiring film maker Reille Hunter. This was proven and admitted, but whether or not her kid was his love child remained up for debate.

Now, John’s has supposedly fessed up to Elizabeth, ‘his dying wife,’ and admitted that the kid is his. This could either be completely untrue and a chance for the mag, which like all mags is suffering, to boost newsstand sales, or it could be untrue and something that John simply told Reille to calm her down. Lastly, it could be completely true, but is probabaly still an admission made at the threats of Reille.

“Rielle has become extremely edgy, and John’s been afraid she might go public before Elizabeth’s book comes out so she can put her story out there first,” the close source told The ENQUIRER.
“These concerns led to John telling Rielle that he had sat down with Elizabeth and admitted to being the baby’s father. This is something Rielle had been pushing John to do for a long, long time because he initially told Elizabeth he was not the father.”

This poor kid.
