So, if the economy goes down the tubes, enlisting in the army begins sounding more and more realistic as an alternative career- right? But the question is, how can the military get truly new recruits into their ranks? I mean citizen soldier only gets you so far into the idea, before you think “what was that starving model doing before the military saved him?”
Meet your answer:
From Krunker.com:
Konami Digital Entertainment announced today that they are developing “Six Days in Fallujah” – a new third person shooter set to debut in 2010 which will attempt to re-enact the battle of Fallujah through the eyes of a US Marine fire-team. Being developed by Atomic Games, Six Days in Fallujah will attempt to deliver both a “historical and engaging” experience to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC platform. Atomic Games is working with three dozen US Marines to help create the third person shooter.
You might not use the infamous Konami code, but apparently, we can bring the glory of war straight into your home. Who knows? If you’re good enough, you might just be tempted to join, right?
